One of the guys I work with, Tim, decided he needed to file a grievance. Somebody in management decided he was no longer fit to do all of his duties so he was re-assigned. Tim disagreed with the decision and contacted the Human Resources office to file a grievance. H.R. told him he had to take it up with his immediate supervisor before if could be advanced to head office. Easier said then done. Tim went to three different people he thought were his supervisors. No luck. The first two people said they didn't know who his supervisor was. The third person's answer was far more interesting. When asked if she was Tim's supervisor the manager answered: "It depends. I'll get back to you."
A week later and still no answer.
Life in the office is full of surprises and events that defy common sense.
